Tipi
Traditional Native American Tipi
From the house, up hill, you’ll find a flat half moon area with 6 meter tipi. The skeleton of the tipi is made of Chestnut and Eucalyptus poles. It has a strong and high quality tipi outer fabric and inner lining. It has the capacity to seat up to 20 people for a ceremony or accommodate 4 people.
Ceremonial Gatherings
The Tipi was used for nightly ceremonial gatherings with Native American origin. People sat in a circle around the inside of the sacred tipi, with a fire blazing in the center. There was drumming, singing, dancing and meditation until sunrise. The place still has an incredible high vibration.
What a tipi symbolises
The floor of the tipi represents the earth on which we live, the walls represent the sky and the poles represent the trails that extend from the earth to the spirit world. The tipi has spacious standing room; raising the side cools the dwelling in warm weather, and its inverted conical shape allows for efficient heating. The shape also makes it very sturdy, able to withstand wind and rain, and even provide shelter against tornadoes.
